I’m really very extremely happy to announce that work is underway on Blue Moon, the first new comic I’ve written in several years that’s actually going to see the light of day.
In truth, I wrote and re-wrote a whole graphic novel for two years but ultimately scrapped it. There are just some topics that don’t require the opinion of another middle-class white guy. Learning when to shut the fuck up is a skill that only comes with age. Next personal lesson: learning how to pick up and start again.
New book is called Blue Moon
Issue #1 of Blue Moon should be hitting the street in fall 2018. I’m hoping to premiere it at MICE. It’s 36-page story jam-packed with tragicomic alternate-future politically-laced teenage love.
The incredibly talented British-based artist D.N.S. (Instagram) has agreed to partner up on this new mission. D.N.S. has drawn some great pages in his time. I highly recommend his work on Modern Animals and The Magician.
