wwhhsshh

PANEL 2 Mr. Davis looks at himself in the mirror. He gives a smile, as if testing out the expression after a long absence.
MR. DAVIS
See. There we go. All gone.
PANEL 3 Mr. Davis makes the bed. He stands on his side of the bed, pulling up the blanket.
MR. DAVIS

I don’t know,
But they ain’t gon’ haunt
When the moon don’t show.
PANEL 4
He stands on the other side of the bed, now all made up. He gives the bed a tender touch, as if someone were still sleeping on that side.
PANEL 5
In a tiny kitchen, he sits at a tiny breakfast table which can fit only two chairs, eating from a bowl of oatmeal. Behind him, next to the gas range, is the cylindrical container of oatmeal and a dirty pot.
