Roberto approaches Nancy. His demeanor is accusatory. Nancy suddenly sheepish again.
ROBERTO
What are you doing here?
PANEL 2
They stand closer together.
NANCY
I- I wanted to pay my respects. I couldn’t get a ride to the funeral, so… here I am.
PANEL 3
A large panel. Nancy leans forward, playfully aggressive, poking a finger into Roberto’s chest.
NANCY
I had to call the funeral director and ask where this was going on.
ROBERTO
I thought he didn’t speak English.
NANCY (CONT’D)
He doesn’t. So I got to practice my Spanish.
NANCY (CONT’D)
¿Dónde está el partido del funeral de Estevez?
PANEL 4
Roberto rebukes her. Nancy looks down at her hands awkwardly.
ROBERTO
I wish you’d have asked me first. This place is such a dive.
ROBERTO (CONT’D)
Normally, you know… I wouldn’t be caught dead…
