The third chapter was illustrated by Matt Reinke, a Massachusetts-based artist. Architecture is a prime visual focus in this chapter, particularly the Italianate Victorian architecture of the Ragbox neighborhood, which is based in part on the Mission District of San Francisco. The stunning overhead shot on Page 1 is particularly noteworthy.
