PANEL 1
Interior hallway. Roberto reaches for the door to his apartment. The ghostly Young Roberto follows close behind him, now carrying his soccer ball. He has become even more translucent, and is starting to disappear.
Note: Roberto and Ana’s apartment door is marked with the letter “B.”
PANEL 2
Interior hallway. Now there is only the adult Roberto. He enters the apartment.
PANEL 3
Apartment. Roberto walks by Ana, seated at the dining room table. Without breaking his stride, he drops the bag of eggs in front of her. Ana reads a glossy teen magazine. She has a strand of hair in her mouth.
ROBERTO
You left the door unlocked. Don’t do that anymore.
PANEL 4
Close up of Ana, eyes wide as she reads. The strand of hair still in her mouth.
PANEL 5
Roberto is in a towel, his hair wet. He stands before his closet, which is Spartan. An aging soccer ball with small burn marks can be seen on the floor.
