PANEL 1
Pull back to reveal that it is, indeed, a window we are looking at, from inside of a house. A breeze billows the curtains ever so slightly. We see the window is only open a crack.
PANEL 2
Same. The breeze increases, pushing the curtain further out. We can glimpse the night sky. Some buildings in the distance. A modern city set on hills. A plume of smoke rises nearby from below. An explosion has occurred from several blocks away.
PANEL 3
Pull back a little more. Reveal some of the house’s interior. A bookshelf to the right of the window. A small, round frame holds a picture of a middle-aged couple holding each other. A beautiful molding lines the bottom of the window. The curtains open ever wider. The smoke grows, and a tower of flames begins to peak. The fire is only a few blocks away.
PANEL 4
Same. The curtains are wide open. The flames increase.
